The 16th World Congress on Public Health, held virtually in 2020, had an incredible turnout as 3,750 delegates participated virtually from 125 different countries. Inspiring presentations and meaningful discussions brought together public health professionals to confer about the threats under the theme of “Public Health for the Future of Humanity: Analysis, Advocacy, and Action”.

The 17th World Congress on Public Health will take place in Rome from 2 to 6 May 2023. Parallel to the World Congress on Public Health (WCPH), there will be also the conference of the Italian Society of Hygiene (SItI). The 2nd of May 2023 there will only be the opening of SItI followed by the opening of WCPH the next day, the 3rd of May 2023. This time the Congress is organized by WFPHA together with the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPHER) and the Italian Society of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health (SItI). Over 3000 delegates from all over the world are expecting to attend.
